From Sumo to Chowboys: Major Visual Overhaul & HUD Update Now Live!

Hey everyone!

We’ve just rolled out a big update to Gaming Couch, and we’re super excited to share what’s new in this version.

Our beloved Sumo games have officially evolved into a new game mode called Chowboys! This change isn’t just a name swap — we’ve done a full visual overhaul based on community feedback.

Here’s what’s new:

1. Chowboys Update Highlights

• Sumo games are now called Chowboys

• Brand new Chowboys characters with engaging animations

• Completely redesigned maps for Last Call, King of the Hill, and The Ring – with clearer level layouts and improved readability

• Added throwable chairs for extra chaos 💺💥

2. New Character HUD

We’ve also added a long-requested feature:
A clean and informative HUD that now shows:

• Player names

• A round-specific progress bar

• A leader marker so you can instantly tell who's winning... and maybe do something about it 👀

3. Other Notable Tweaks

• Renamed slEyeme Ball game to Eyeball, as suggested by the community

• New sound effects and animations for Eyeball to make ball spin easier to read

• Added a slew of new demo playlists for even more couch chaos variety
